Mirek Cabinetry fabricated custom dining room tables for Mather Lifeways, an Evanston based not-for-profit that advocates for the senior population. The tables are part of a cafe located in the Galewood neighborhood of Chicago, routinely referred to as a "Starbucks for Seniors".

Cafe Interior

Dining Room

Analine-dyed wood fiber clouds hover over the custom made cafe tables. The central wood floor serves as a dance floor for special occasions.

Eastern light streams through the irridescent cafe drapery. Indigo colored plywood chairs offset the cherry furniture.

Memory Tables

Mirek Cabinetry's custom made dining tables feature a "shadow box" surface. Tables are filled with meaningful artifacts specific to the neighborhood and the cafe membership. The table top is clear tempered glass.
