EuropeanCan be used with Flush Overlay and Reveal Overlay doors. Has a high to moderate strength and self closing versions do not need a catch. By far, the most popular hinge used today because of it's adjustability and ease of installation. |

PivotCan be used on Flush Overlay and Reveal Overlay doors. A low cost hinge with moderate strength. Not easily adjusted. |

Wrap AroundUsed with Reveal Overlay doors. Very high strenght hinge that may or may not be mortised. Easy to install but difficult to adjust. |

Butt HingesUsed with conventional Exposed Face Frame cabinets. High strength hinges require mortising to install. Best used with solid wood doors. |
